Gardening For Toddlers

In this post, I will go over the Youtube video we made about the day we spent introducing our toddler to gardening for the first time.  This is Youtube video for my sons channel.  This was a quick project that we put together with no real planning.

My intention for this post is to use this video as a case study that can be referenced in the future.

At the time of this post, this video is showing up number four for the search term “gardening with toddler” on Youtube search.  This video was uploaded 1 day ago and currently as 39 views.  It is important to know that this term is not a high volume search term according to the research I did on TubeBuddy. By the way, this is the tool I use to do all my keyword research before I ever hit record.  Doing this allows me to have a title before we even start recording.

So this video is targeting a keyword that someone interested gardening with their toddler for the first time might be searching for in the YouTube search bar.

Gardening with your toddler is an outdoor activity that you don't need to be intimidated in doing. As you will see in the video, we definitely don't have green thumbs. 

It was fun and we will be teaching Tristan more about gardening, however, we will research easy flowers for kids to grow before our next outing. Hope you like!

About the description

The the first paragraph I led off by talking about what the viewer could expect to see if they watched the video.  I always include the “exact” keyword that I was targeting, but you will notice that throughout the description you will notice other similar phrases that are really just the keyword phrases said in a different way.

Doing this is giving Youtube a clear indication of what it is that this video promises to talk about.  Next it will be up to the video to deliver on that promise.
